Venue Hire 2025

 

Do you need a venue for your event or activity? Our function rooms are popular for everything from birthday parties to classes to meetings and funerals. Enjoy our two enclosed garden spaces too!

Hire rates 2025:  Please email us for current rates. Rates vary for community groups, fee paying classes and commercial use.

Spaces for hire:

Hall – 10 x 15m (150 people). Clean, well lit, ventilated. Direct kitchen access.

Lounge – 8 x 6.2m (50 people) + 6 x 3.5m annex. Opens to north-facing fenced deck and grassy space. Light, warm and well ventilated. Direct kitchen access.

Auditorium – 13 x 20m. Seats 180 with movable individual padded seating. Warm and light.

Kitchen: Access from both Hall and Lounge. Free with venue hire and equipped with large capacity oven, steriliser, microwave, fridge, Zip hot water and crockery/cutlery.

Car park: Parking for 13 vehicles. Bike parks too.

 

Resources for hire:
Tables and chairs are included in your hire fee: 100 chairs, 14 trestle tables (1.8 x .76m).

Trestle tables: $5/table for off-site events. Own transport required.
Pre-school party ride-ons: $15 for 10
Data projector, whiteboard, sound system (church or lounge), free wifi (please request password).
The church premises are alcohol-free, however members or friends of the congregation may apply to Parish Council to have this lifted for champagne and wine only.

Audio facilities:
Sound equipment and support. A comprehensive sound system and data-projector are available in both the church and lounge.

Weddings:
Our church is the perfect venue for your wedding. A connection to this church isn’t a requirement. Come and experience its beautiful light space with rich, warm wood tones and a very welcoming feel.

If you have a date in mind, contact us today and we’ll let you know if it’s available. You may engage your own pastor for the ceremony. We ask that he or she is a Christian pastor and that they contact Minister Nathan Parry well in advance of your wedding.

Hire of our facilities for weddings can include the following:
Church: $450.00
Hall and Lounge: $75/hour for both
Minister: $350 including preparatory meetings ($250 for a wedding at another venue).
Organist: $150 including rehearsal and service
Sound:  Please arrange your own sound technician. They will an introduction on how the sound desks functions.  A data projector is available. Please bring your own laptop for audio-visual content.

Funerals:

We are available to discuss your and your family’s needs and can tailor a service to your wishes.
Minister’s service: $300. If the service is followed by a graveside committal or service at a crematorium there is an extra charge of $50.
Church: $400.00.
Sound technician: $150, paid direct. Organist: $150, paid direct.
Lounge: $50/hr or $75/hr for Lounge and Hall. Available for your after-service gathering. The lounge is warm and light.

Cleaning and space setup: A charge of $70 applies for arranging the auditorium, and cleaning if catering is provided at the premises.

Kitchen: Fully equipped and caterer friendly.
